Zinc

Lead-zinc ore is an ore that contains lead and zinc. It usually consists of a mixture of lead ore and zinc ore, where the amount of lead and zinc can vary. Lead and zinc are important non-ferrous metals that have a wide range of applications in many industrial sectors. Zinc concentrate refers to ore that contains a higher zinc content after beneficiation and concentration. Zinc concentrate is often an important raw material for extracting and refining zinc from zinc ore. It generally exists in the form of zinc oxide ore, zinc sulfide ore or mixed ore. The zinc content of zinc concentrate is usually above 30%, and some high-quality concentrates contain more than 50% zinc. These zinc concentrates can be further refined and processed through smelting techniques such as zinc smelting to obtain pure zinc metal or zinc alloys for a variety of industrial and commercial uses.
